I've been doing this paleo thing for what feels like a long time (7 years and counting). Sometimes I'm really good at it and sometimes I'm not. But overall, I've incorporated the basic template into my day to day with a few off roading sessions along the way. Having done this a while, I've learned a lot about what makes me feel best, which foods I need, and which ones I'd best avoid. I've done several Whole30's and each time, I learn something new. Throughout this time, I've tweaked, adjusted, and fiddled to get my paleo template just right - for me. Sometimes I forget what it's like to be a beginner again and I came across this wonderful primer from Paleo Magazine that I will link here. It is pretty comprehensive and lists all the basics of the Paleo or Ancestral template. Take a look and see if you agree.
